In Loving Memory of Robert Vaughn, Sr
Robert Harold Vaughn, Sr. died in Klamath Falls, OR on December 26, 2015.
A service of Tribute & Love will be held at Chiloquin Christian Center on Friday, January 1, 2016 at 1 PM. Cremation and inurnment will be held at Eternal Hills.
Robert was born in San Diego, CA to Harold & May Felts Vaughn on July 29, 1948, then. He grew up in Eureka, CA and after graduation from high school he got married. He then entered the US Army from 1978 to 1984, where he served in Germany for part of his tour. After his marriage ended he met and married Joy!ene Schill, they were married in Reno, NV on July 23, 1988. They had an extradoinary Life and marriage for 27 years until his death. He worked for various lumber mills including Jeld Wen until his retirement . In 2010 he and his wife moved to Chiloquin where he was the happiest he had ever been. He had a part time job while in Chiloquin as a driver for the Klamath Tribes. This kept him busy and he enjoyed the employees and especially the clients.
Robert was an man of integrity, honesty, extremely caring and was a very hard worker. He loved hunting and fishing with a passion and was always at home in the outdoors. He also enjoyed being with his family. He was a member of the Wintu Tribe in Hayfork, CA.
He is survived by his wife: Joy; Sons & Daughters in Law: Bobby & Kelly Vaughn; Tim & Kim Swagert Phillips; Michael & Jennelle Phillips; Daughter: Sherri Scudder; Grandchildren: Levi; Dakota; Savannah; Tachianna; Shane; Sache I; Margaret; Niki Robinson & Michael Swagert; Great Grandchildren: Kiara; Rebekkah;Zereth; Sister: Shirley Mitchell; Bob married into the Schill family when he married Joy and is survived by 7 brothers and sisters: Ron & Elizabeth; Robert & JoAnn; Rick&, Tom & Jo, Rod & Faith Schill as well as Carla & David Rusth plus numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by a grandson: Joseph Paul Vaughn
