Leon Mickinnley “BOO” Weeks, JR

 

w0012175-1_20161008Leon Mickinnley “Boo” Weeks, Jr was born to Leon Weeks, Sr. and Marcella Harrington on July 20, 1966. He passed away in Klamath Falls, Ore., on Oct. 6, 2016. He was raised in Chiloquin, Ore., and went to school in Chiloquin and Klamath Falls. Leon worked as a construction laborer for 2 years in Salem, Ore., and moved back home. Leon was always respectful of other peoples needs. He would chop their wood, clean peoples yards, wash dishes and even babysit children. He helped everyone out as much as he could until he became ill. Boo had the biggest heart anyone could imagine. He made people feel good about themselves and always knew how to bring the good out and bad go away. Boo shared a lot of laughs and jokes with family and friends. He was a comedian at his best. The children that came into his life were very special to him, He loved and raised a lot of children. He will be missed dearly by many of us. He is survived by his dad and stepmom, Leon Weeks Sr. and Sharon; mom, Marcella Harrington; brother and sister-in-law, Gene and Anita Harrington; brother and sister-in-law, Francis and Faye Kirk; aunties, Vickie Taylor, Bonnie Whitehorse, Eileen Mitchell, Diane Ibarra, Sharron Harrington, Emma Lou Harrington, Sherry Dee, Toni Gibbons, Doreen Moore and Sandy Wright; uncles, Kevin Wright, and Keith Wright. He was preceded in death by brother, Monty Dude Weeks; sister, Tonya Weeks; auntie, Carmel Noneo; and uncles,Dudy Wright and John and auntie, Mickey. A viewing will be at 5-7 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 12, 2016, in Davenport’s Chapel. A celebration of life service will be held at the Big Gym, in Chiloquin on Saturday, Oct. 15, 2016 at 11:30 a.m. Food and fellowship will follow. Concluding graveside services will follow at Hill Cemetery.
