Melanie “Buzz” Jackson

Melanie LaJean “Buzz” Jackson was born in Klamath Falls, Ore., on Sept. 19, 1965, to Carroll F. “Skip” Jackson and Loyette L. “Lucy” Moppin Jackson. Buzz was the youngest of five daughters. She loved camping, hunting and being in the woods. Buzz was a cultural resource technician for the Winema National Forest. She was also employed with Kla-Mo-Ya Casino as a Guest Relation Host until her health required her to quit. Buzz lost her 16 year battle with cancer on March 7, 2016. She is survived by sister, Ormie “Penny” Ahboah; sister, Carol “Ceejay” and Rob Buckalew; brother, Crayton and Rene Jackson; brother-in-law, Jim Collins, Gene Ray Ahboah. She also leaves many nieces and nephews, and other family members. She is proceeded in death by her parents, Skip and Lucy Jackson; sisters, Merris l. Collins and Lisa Loyette “Lou” Jackson Barrick; sister, Anna Jackson Shadley. Viewing will be on Tuesday March 15, 2016, 3-9 p.m.
