Notice: Last Push to Stop Housing Development at Our Agency

Waq lis ?aad Maqlaqs,

We need your presence at one more meeting of the Klamath County Planning Commission. The last chance for the developer to gain approval from the county to place a housing development on the Klamath Indian Agency will be July 23rd (Tuesday) at 6 p.m. in the Government Building in Klamath Falls (305 Main Street). If we stop him there, we have a real shot at purchasing and preserving the property for ecological and historical/cultural purposes—contingent on General Council’s approval.

Please do your best to attend. We had several elders attend one of the meetings, and their presence seemed to make a big difference in how our arguments were received.
