Doris Louise (Shuey) Weddle, Age 75, of Klamath Falls, went home to be with her Lord and Savoir May 20, 2014.

Doris was born December 23, 1938 in Klamath Agency, OR to Burt Shuey and Mabel Ball Shuey. She grew up in Klamath Falls and graduated from Brookings High School where she was voted their first ever Prom Queen. After school, she joined the Air Force and was stationed in San Antonio, Texas; it was here she had her first child, daughter Terri (Tucker) Davis, who proceeded her in death. Later, Doris moved to Beech Grove, Indiana where she had her second child, son Jeff Tucker. She eventually moved back to Klamath Falls and had son Kenny Bellm and daughter Shannon (Bellm) Reichert.

It wasn’t until 1979 that she moved to Portland, OR and married the love of her life, James O. Weddle, who preceded her in death.

Doris will always be remembered for her incredible compassion, her infectious smile, and her unforgettable laugh. Many can also attest to her love of shopping and giving nature. She will be missed by many, but forgotten by none.

Survivors include sisters: Susie Green and Linda Faulkner; brother: Craig Shuey; children: Jeff Tucker, Kenny Bellm and Shannon (Bellm) Reichert; son-in-law: Elgin Reichert; grandchildren: Justin, Jenny, Lane, Renee, Cody, Cheyenne, Hunter, and Addison; great-grandchildren: Taylor, Kingston, Neveah, Kennedy, and Grayson.

A celebration of life will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, June 21, 2014 at Calvary Chapel Klamath Falls. There will be a potluck after the service and a grave-site blessing will follow at Wilson Cemetery in Chiloquin, OR.
