In Loving Memory,
Cora Lee Joe, 44, went home to her Lord on Saturday, Dec. 24, 2011, in Klamath Falls.
She was born Jan. 17, 1967, in Klamath Falls to Veron Lee Joe and Vera Lee Joe.
She spent most of her life in Klamath County, Salem and Keizer, Ore.
Cora went through tough trials and tribulations in her young life. However, she turned her life around. Later in life, she led a blessed life serving the Lord and attending church. She surrounded her time with love and playtime with her grandchildren and family.
She enjoyed camping, swimming, baking, “Indian Taco Sales,” powwows, making all who knew her humor laugh beyond belief, hunting, and opening up her home for Bible studies.
She was loved by all.
Services were held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 31, in Beatty Valley Gospel Church in Beatty.
Survivors include her lifelong partner Kenny Townsend of Beatty; children Carman Joe, Aaron Joe, Julius Jackson, Verdella Wright and Tianna Dennis; brothers Harley Joe, A.J. Jackson and Sonny Hutchinson; sister Sherry Dee Harrington; five grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her son Boyd J. Jackson V, and her great-grandparents Arlene Riddle Hutchinson, Lee Hutchinson and Ethal Walker.
