Sherry Lee Kirk-Kimbol (Finn), 48, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, July 29, 2012, in St. Charles Medial Center in Bend with her family by her side.
Sherry was born Sept. 9, 1963, to Geraldine Nelson-Kirk and Stephen H. Kirk in Lakeview, OR. She was an avid pool player, reader and loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. She was a wonderful and cherished daughter, mother, sister, aunt, cousin and former wife. She was loved by all who knew her.
Sherry is survived by daughters Mishelle and Stefanee Kirk, Jessie and Sarissa Kimbol; sons Nick JR., Stephen and Kirk Kimbol; grandsons whom she helped raise and thought of as her own Joseph and Thayer Kirk and Luca Wilson; grandchildren Cyrus Sears, Kyran Kimbol, Vincent Lowe and Shragaylush Lopez. Sisters Stefanie and Erin Kirk; numerous nieces and nephews; aunts Gloria Lawver and Maxine Cruger; uncle Tinker Kirk; family of ex-husband and lifelong friend Nick Kimbol Sr., special companion Jerimiah Horn; lifelong best friend and cousin Dee Barkley; and numerous cousins and friends. Also anyone, who may have been excluded, you know who you are.
She was preceded in death by her brother Steve Kirk, parents Geraldine and Stephen Kirk, best friend Arlan Donahue, uncles Skeeter and John Kirk and cousins Eric Nelson and Lea Barkley.
A celebration of life service was held at Klamath Full Gospel in Klamath Falls, OR, Sunday, August 5, 2012, with Richard Tupper officiating. The service was followed by lunch and concluded with graveside services at Wilson Cemetery in Chiloquin.
