Tonya LaVonne Weeks (1970-2012) went home to be with our Lord on August 8, 2012, at the tender age of 42 in Yreka, CA.
She was born in Klamath Falls on June 18, 1970, to Marcella Harrington and Leon Weeks Sr. Tonya was greatly loved by her husband Carlos Revolorio Sr.; sons Junior, Carlitos and Cesar, daughters Jodee and Miranda; brothers and wives Leon “Boo” Weeks Jr., Gene and Anita Harrington JR and Francis Kirk and Faye Kirk; and aunts Bonnie Whitehorse, Eileen Mitchell, Doreen Moore, Sharon Harrington, Diana Ibarra, Sherri Dee Harrington, Emma Lou Harrington and Toni Gibbons. She also leaves extra special “sister” Rebecca “Snooks” Kirk and special friends Mereidith Jimenez and Tianh Brown. She loved living in Los Angeles, CA, but Chiloquin was always her home, where she was surrounded by her numerous cousins, friends and family.
Tonya was known as a wonderful cook, a friend you could count on, and a fun person to be with. She lived her life with adventure and thoughtfulness. She enjoyed traveling, being a loving aunt and loved her savior Jesus Christ.
She was preceded in death by her uncle Dude Wright Sr., aunt Carmel Noneo, brother Monte “Dude” Weeks SR., extra, extra special cousin Jodee Crain, step-father Gene Harrington Sr. and Aunt Mickie.
She has been laid to rest with her brother Monte “Dude” Weeks Sr. in Hill Cemetery.
Celebration of life service were held on Friday, August 17, 2012, at 1 p.m. in the Chiloquin Christian Center with a concluding graveside service followed by lunch at the church. Davenport’s Chapel of the Good Shepherd is in charge of the arrangements.
