In Loving Memory, Yvonne Jefferson

Yvonne Sue Jefferson (1948-2014) was born June 25, 1948, in Klamath Falls to the late Alfred Moore, Sr. “Bud” and Teresa Mae Johnson.  She went home to be with the Lord April 22, 2014, in Klamath Falls with her family by her side.  Yvonne was a Chiloquin High School graduate.  She spent her life as a homemaker/caretaker and lived in Oregon and Bellingham, Wash., where she met her late husband, Tom Jefferson.  She finished her life here in Klamath Falls with her life partner,  Patrick Johnson.  She traveled the Western United States with her sister in the Lord, Carrol LeBeau, ministering and sharing the Gospel of Jesus.  Yvonne was an ultimate prayer warrior; she was always praying for her family and friends.  She always had a big heart and a kind word to everyone she met.  She loved spending time with all her brothers and sisters.

Survivors include her sons, Edwin “Junior” Miller Jr. and his wife, Crystal,  Jeremy Cox and his wife, Victoria; and daughter Jeanine Miller. Grandkids, Shawnee, Brieauna, Jackie, Sandy,  Bill Miller, Larken Tupper,  Thaj Miller and Joshua Cox.  Great Grand kids, Valen (Nano), Ashmya, Aleeyah, and Joseph.  Her life partner, Pat Johnson, sisters, Barbara Charles,  Sandra Charles, Karen Halford, Sharon Solomon, Andrea Jefferson, Joanie Wilson, Andria Ayosa and Teresa Mae Jefferson.  Brothers, Avery Charles “Squeeky”, Dewey Moore and Patrick Jefferson.  Her aunt, Betty Barkley.

She was preceded in death by her father, Alfred Moore, Sr., her mother, Theresa Mae Johnson, sisters, Marie Oates, Carlette Tupper, Nikkie Jo Moore, Pamela Moore and  her brother, Terry Charles.  Services were held at 11:00 a.m. in the Big Gym in Chiloquin, OR.  Monday April 28, 2014.  A potluck  lunch was  served in the Chiloquin Assembly of God’s fellowship hall following the service.
