RESTORATION OF THE SPIRIT 2016- FREE EVENT! ROSS RAGLAND THEATRE- MAY 27TH KLAMATH FALLS, OREGON

Hello Everyone,

KTHFS Youth & Family Guidance Centers Prevention Program is hosting “Restoration of the Spirit 2016” at the Ross Ragland Theatre Friday May 27th .  This event is made possible by our Mental Health Initiative funding from the State of Oregon.  Our event will focus heavily on Identity.   Along with a live show, we will be screening the Jack Pettibone Riccobono documentary “The Seventh Fire”, a powerful film that is gaining national attention.  Recently, it was screened at the White House in Washington DC.  Executive Producers include: Natalie Portman and Chris Eyre

You can view the trailer here: www.theseventhfire.com   Disclaimer: The documentary is NR (no rating) and does include instances of adult language, violence, and drug and alcohol use.

Currently, the Prevention Program is busy working with a dynamic team of tribal youth and adults to deliver a meaningful experience for all who attend.

Also, We will be hosting a silent auction to support our Klamath Tribal Youth who are incarcerated in Oregon Youth Authority Facilities around the State of Oregon.  If you would like to donate an item (beadwork, art, etc) for the auction, please contact the Prevention Team at 541-884-1841.  Donations must be received by 5/23/2016.

This is a FREE event. spirit1 spirit
