|The Census Ends Tomorrow, October 15thHere at We Count Oregon, we are disappointed the Supreme Court granted the Trump Administration’s request to end the census early. We urge all our partners and ambassadors to mobilize your communities to take the census today!|
Hours after the ruling was released, the U.S. Census Bureau announced it would keep accepting responses online at My2020Census.gov through Oct. 15th until 11:59 p.m. Hawaii time. The bureau has also set Oct. 15th as the postmark deadline for paper forms and the end date for collecting phone responses and door knocking at unresponsive households.
Let’s make these final hours count and do everything we can to support our communities in having access to the representation and resources we need!
Again, here, you will find It’s Not Too Late To Count and Census Countdown graphics along with Asa Wright’s Graphics to reach the Native community and Dr. Biko’s graphics geared towards our Black community. We will be adding more graphics later today.
