dic psekst giulank nanokens!

gen waytas wonipniks gi!

Hello everyone, the week has been blowing by. Another big bird is lined up on the learning list. Today’s word of the day is; ka-ak (raven).

There will be two examples to follow as we learn how to use this word in a sentence.

ka-ak limlimli gi.

ka-ak yawyawa.

These are very simple sentences that are easy to understand as well. I’ll break them down to help everyone understand what each word means.

ka-ak = raven

limlimli = dark colored

gi = is

This simple term is straightforward. The reason the color is not black, is because there are some regions that have other colored ravens. The majority of ravens have a dark hue, if not black color feathers.

ka-ak = raven

yawyawa = noisy

This is a very simple sentence that you could easily say. The sentence describes the characteristic of the raven, which means that “yawyawa” is a verb. This makes the process to make a sentence a lot easier.

Hope everyone learned something new today. There are recordings of the examples attached as well.
