New website provides link to community resources
KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. – In a time of uncertainty the community needs access to accurate, relevant, timely information and Klamath County Public Health (KCPH) has worked to meet those needs.
Its dedicated webpage at publichealth.klamathcounty.org/coronavirus provides connection to local, state, national and international information regarding the pandemic. Today the local information expanded to include a link to the new Community Resource Hub on the Healthy Klamath website.
Community partners such as KCPH and Healthy Klamath, which is also known locally as the Blue Zones Project, were working together long before COVID-19 was a known concern. Healthy Klamath has become the conduit for collaboration among a variety of agencies and was the logical host of an informational site to serve the community.
On the page, visitors will find connections to resources such as health, finances and housing, individuals and families, childcare, food access, education, and business. Content suggestions are still being sought and can be directed to firstname.lastname@example.org.
During this era when community members have been asked to “Stay home. Save lives” connection to people and resources is an important consideration.
The website can be found at www.healthyklamath.org/COVID-19.
