Lewis “Corky” Gibbons, 83, passed away on Feb. 25, 2016. He was born at Klamath Agency on July 5, 1932, the fourth youngest of nine children. He was a member of the Klamath Tribes. He leaves one sister Patty Dumont, 36 of his 55 nieces and nephews, and many cousins. Corky was a lifelong resident of Klamath County and known for his crazy humor and wit. He will be greatly missed as he journeys to the other side. A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, March 4, 2016, at Hill Cemetery at Modoc Point followed by a potluck in Chiloquin Community Center.
