Marylyn Sheppard-Blair

Marylyn H. Sheppard-Blair passed away on Monday, Sept. 27, 2010, at the young age of 47.
The wake will begin at 6 p.m. Friday, Oct. 1, 2010. A service of tribute and love will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 2, 2010. Both will take place in Chiloquin, Ore., at the Big Gym. At the family’s request, a private family cremation will take place with a burial at a later time.
Marylyn was born on Jan. 10, 1963, in Klamath Falls, Ore., to Marlyn and Mary Jane (Merritt) Sheppard.
She lived on the family ranch, where she enjoyed scrapbooking, doing arts and crafts, gardening, and having family gatherings. She also loved to go camping, fishing, traveling to the coast, going to rodeos and powwows and capturing life’s special moments through taking photos.
In June 1995, she married Bruce Blair from Astoria, Ore., who was the love of her life. She had the pleasure of being called “Mom” by many children, who she loved with all her heart. Family meant a great deal to her; she loved spending time with her brothers and sisters and rest of the family.
Marylyn had numerous jobs over the years, working at Klamath Tribal Health, for the Cheyne Brothers in the potatoes, Chiloquin Elementary School, Kla-Mo-Ya Casino and the Klamath Tribes.
Survivors include her husband, Bruce Blair; uncles and aunts, Ben and Betty Sheppard and Donald and Marion Preston; father-in-law and mother-in-law,, Abbie and Nettie Blair; children, Steven also known as “Audie” Randee and Drew Sheppard; sisters and brothers-in-law, Neena McNair, Millie and Randy Whiting, Tweet Samson and Ray Winters, and Toni Sheppard; brothers and sisters-in-law, Randy Sheppard and Joy Donahue and Phillip and Cheryl Carroll; brothers-in-law and sister-in-law, Michael and Linda Blair and Randy Blair; nieces, Tish and Meg Sheppard and Marnie Whiting; nephews, Sankey Ahboah and Casey Whiting; great-nieces, Dymond and Tatiana Jackson and Bailey Whiting; great-nephew, Jordan also known as “Jordy”; and numerous other relatives and friends.
Marylyn was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Mike McNair, and baby, Marlyn Sheppard-Blair.
