Charles Madril Ochoa went home to our Lord Saturday, March 22, 2014, at the age of 17 at his home in Chiloquin with his family at his bedside. Charles was born May 29, 1996, in Klamath Falls. He played YMCA, AAU and traveled to numerous basketball tournaments. He enjoyed music, hanging out with his friends, playing basketball, hunting and fishing. He was known for his bright smile and sense of humor that could cheer up anyone’s day. Charles was very protective over his siblings and wanted the best for them. He loved all of his friends and family and always put others before himself. He was a true warrior. Survivors include his parents, Ginette Lewis; and Lil Man Ochoa; brothers, Tyson, Manny Lil yawq’, and Maddox Ochoa. Sister, To-Le-Us Ochoa, grandparents, Manny and Elaine Ochoa, Marla Kimbol, Frank ansd Suzie Lewis; great-grand parents Rosemary Ochoa, Chuck and Hydee Kimbol, Frank Lewis SR., numerous aunts, uncles, great aunts and great-uncles, and numerous cousins. Charles also is survived by brothers from another mother, Edward “Pluckers” Lenard Jr., Ivan Fernandez, Vernon Norwest, Clarence Henthorne, Sankey Shepherd, Elias Sampson, Devin Wegstein, Michael and Jacob Ford and all his teammates.
This is a sacred time, we humbly ask that no substances are used in our loved one’s name. A viewing was at 3 p.m. Wednesday at his home in Klamath Falls andThursday at 3 p.m. at his grandparents’ home in Chiloquin. A memorial service will be at 1 p.m. Friday in the Big Gym in Chiloquin with luncheon to follow at a location to be announced.
