Harley passed away September 15, 2014 in Klamath Falls, Oregon. He was born February 3, 1956 in Klamath Falls to Vernon Lee Joe and Birdie Mae Tupper Joe. He is preceded in death by his mother and father, Grandmother Ethel “Cookie” Walker, Grandfather, Woody Joe, Sr., Uncle Ivan Joe, Jr., Uncles Ivan Joe, Terry Walker, Aunt Georgianna Walker, and Sister Cora “Cujo” Joe, Nephew Boyd Jackson.
Harley is survived by Brother Mike Tupper, Sister Anne Frasier, Daughter Barbara “Snickers” Farmer, Joe Mendoza, Great Grandsons, Ivan and Angelo, Aunt and Uncle Jana and Todd DeGarmo, Ruth and Leroy Jackson, Rosalie and JU Unive, Brothers, Vernon Joe, Jr., Dan Hoff, Sisters, Leann Joe Senff, Sherry Dee Harrington. Nieces, Carmon Joe, Aaron AJ Wright, Julius Jackson, Uncles, Woody Joe Sr., Eugene Joe, Bill Tupper, Ed Miller, Foster Family: Mother Augustine Crowell, Sister Linda Crowell, Brother Dennis Crowell and Brother Rick Jones and numerous other relations and friends.
Harley enjoyed playing Indian Basketball, mostly with the Renegade Nation and playing hoops with his Native Brothers. He always had a smile on and off the court and didn’t meet a person he couldn’t talk or tease with. Harley won numerous All-Star awards during his basketball career. It is pretty certain Harley has a starting position with the All-Indian Basketball Tourney in the sky.
