Dich Mboosant – Good Morning!

34th Annual Restoration Celebration Safe Distancing & Virtual Community Event

As you know, the Klamath Tribes are committed to the continued safety and well-being of our people and the community. Therefore, events for our 34th Annual Restoration Celebration have changed drastically. There will only be two events this year, a virtual powwow (see instructions below), and a ‘safe-distancing’ community drive-thru Event/Parade. In addition, this year’s parade will not travel thru downtown Chiloquin. Instead, (due to safety concerns for crowds gathering during Covid-19), the Drive-Thru Event will begin at 10:00 am at the Chiloquin Elementary School. Personal visitor vehicles will start driving at 10am and travel towards the Chiloquin High School, down Park street, and end at the Chiloquin Community Park. We hope this reverse route (opposite the usual process) will provide a safer and better distancing format for everyone.

*Tribal Department Table Stations and Parade Floats will be set-up along the drive-thru route for everyone to drive-by and view safely.

*Commemorative items, food and refreshments will be handed to everyone, while you stay safely in your vehicle. *Masks and social distancing practices are mandated.

Sepk’eec’a – Thank you, we hope to see your beautiful faces in your vehicles and on video for the virtual powwow! *See poster for more information.
