Word of the Day

Today’s Word of the Day is a suffix. This word has many uses. Sometimes it is a stand alone word-then it acts as an adverb-it modifies verbs then. When it is a suffix, it modifies nouns and pronouns. The most basic meaning is “toward or straight.” When it is used with pronouns, it has a meaning of: only, alone, merely, none other than.

Most of the time you will see it in some form meaning toward or straight.

In a sentence: sandiyyat ni yamsitala gena.

On Sunday I went toward Yamsi mountain.
