Tribal USFS Liaison

The Tribal USS Liaison serves as the primary representative of the Klamath Tribes in fostering government-to-government relationships with the Forest Service, to uphold the Tribe’s rights, including treaty rights, and trust responsibilities. The position provides leadership, coordination, and program direction to facilitate consultation, communication, and partnerships between the Tribe and Forest Service, ensuring the Tribe’s interests in natural resource management, sacred site protection, and program delivery are advanced. The incumbent will develop and manage a comprehensive Tribal Relations Program t o address the current and future needs o f the Klamath Tribes while serving a s a member of the Tribal
Administration leadership team and the Forest Leadership Team.
