The Klamath Tribal Council is the elected governing body of The Klamath Tribes, representing more than 5,800 enrolled members. The Council is responsible for protecting Tribal sovereignty, upholding the rights reserved in the Treaty of 1864, establishing Tribal laws and policies, providing oversight of Tribal government, and helping safeguard the future of our Nation.
The Council consists of ten elected members, including a Chairman, Vice-Chairman, Secretary, Treasurer, and six Members-at-Large. Elections are held every three years in accordance with the Klamath Tribal Constitution.
The Klamath Tribes are a sovereign Nation. We govern ourselves under our Constitution and exercise the rights reserved in the Treaty of 1864.

No. They are private for tribal members only.
