The primary purpose of this position is to provide administrative support for the Social Services Department. The work includes various responsibilities involving different processes and methods, requiring a wide range of administrative skills. The work often involves highly confidential matters, and the pressure of deadlines. Employee must be able to work in a team environment while performing multiple tasks calmly and effectively, often times under pressure due to the nature of the work.

Social Services Administrative Assistant is responsible for processing financial transactions; tracking property; records retention; and other administrative duties. When necessary, the Administrative Assistant shall adhere to the Tribes Procurement Policy as related to purchasing goods or services. Work is repetitive and reoccurring. This position will work primarily with the Social Services Director, Social Services Program Managers, and the Finance Department.
