Tribal Community Needs Assessment Survey Manager

The Tribal Community Needs Assessment, a project being conducted by the Klamath Tribes Housing Department, seeks to hire a Survey Manager to supervise and coordinate on-the- ground activities for 4 to 8 hired field staff, and act as a liaison for tribal leadership, program staff, project stakeholders and Big Water Consulting throughout the project.

The Survey Manager will be directly responsible for 4-8 field staff members. These field staff members will be hired to visit a random sample of tribal member households within and around Chiloquin, Klamath Falls, and Beatty to help residents complete survey questionnaires. The Survey Manager will be responsible for assigning work to each field staff member, monitoring their progress in visiting cases, tracking the thoroughness and accuracy of their work, and assisting them when they have questions about their duties. The Survey Manager will also be responsible for following up with households for which field staff members are unable to complete questionnaires (driving to these homes to complete surveys). The Survey Manager will be responsible for communicating the progress of the project to Tribal staff and Big Water Consulting and assist in addressing any issues that arise and is expected to work approximately 30-40 hours per week for 8-10 weeks until all selected homes have been visited according to survey protocols.
