In Loving Memory, Frances Rebecca Jackson

In Loving Memory of a Beautiful Woman and Elder of the Klamath Tribes…

Frances Rebecca Jackson, 78, went home to be with our Lord on Tuesday, June 26, 2012, at Sky Lakes Medical Center in Klamath Falls, Ore. Frances was born at Klamath Agency, Ore., on Aug. 26, 1933. She was the daughter of Beatrice Lynch and John Edward Garcia. She grew up in Beatty, Ore., and went to school in Stewart, Nev., and Salem Ore.

Frances loved to listen to her favorite gospel music, her teaching CD’s, and her Steiger Butte CD’s. She enjoyed visiting with family, loved ones and friends, and sharing the good news of what the Lord was doing for her and sharing the good news about Jesus which was her life’s work! She kept a calendar with everyone’s birthday, anniversaries and all special occasions of all her family and friends. Frances called each individual personally on their special day to sing her special birthday song and share a special prayer for that special person on that day, faithfully.

She was such a loving and caring mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend to so many people, and she will be sorely missed by many. Frances was always there for us, anytime we called, for any reason, with prayer. She always called the prayer warriors to start the prayer chain and we knew the situation was in the hands of the Lord and things would change for the better. Frances was a happy, loving woman with a great sense of humor. She was full of knowledge and wisdom to share with any aged individual and she was always genuinely happy to see you coming. You always left her feeling energized and like a new person. What a wonderful gift to share with her visitors. She will be missed by all.

Frances was preceded in death by her parents, former husbands: Carl S. Jackson and Roland C. Jackson; brothers: John E. Garcia Jr., Crosby Garcia, sisters: Lorna N. Jackson, Bernice Biss, Corrine A. Hicks and Rosetta Lane, son: Christman Jackson and grandchildren Michael R. Treetop, III, and Deanna Shadley.

She is survived by her children: Anna and Jack Shadley, Gilbert Lee Jackson, LaNell Jackson, Bill and Joyce Jackson, Crayton and Renee Jackson, Gloria and Marvin McWilliams, Rose Mary Treetop, sister: Imogene and Alfred Walker, brother: Wallace and Lillian Garcia plus numerous nieces and nephews and grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and special friends Betty Case and Randy and Joy Sheppard, and people who took cared of her at Plum Ridge.

A Celebration of Life Service was held Saturday, July 7, 2012, which began at 11 a.m. in the Big Gym in Chiloquin. Lunch was  served at the Chiloquin Christian Fellowship following the service. Private burial  followed at Chief Schonchin Cemetery in Sprague River, Ore. Davenport’s Chapel of the Good Shepherd, were in charge of the arrangements.

Her Life’s Work was for all to know the Creator- Father God and his son Jesus…

John 3:16 – For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son,

and whosoever believeth in him shall not perish, but have everlasting life.
