CHILOQUIN, Ore. Nov. 3, 2026 – The Klamath Tribes welcomed Eldon “Louie” Miller as its newest Tribal Council Member-at-Large during a swearing-in ceremony on Monday, November 2, 2026.
Miller will fill the vacant Member-at-Large position previously held by Natalie Ball. Under the Klamath Tribes Constitution, the eligible candidate with the next-highest vote total in the most recent Tribal Council election fills a vacancy.
Miller received 240 votes in the April 16, 2025 Tribal Council election, and will serve the remainder of the current Tribal Council term, which concludes in May 2028.
After his swearing-in, Miller thanked the audience for the opportunity to serve and pledged to do his best to represent all tribal members. “I will try my best to acknowledge everything and everybody from here on out,” Miller said.
Miller also spoke of serving in the Great Spirit’s name and honoring everyone, whether they come before him or not. The Klamath Tribes welcomes Miller to Tribal Council and looks forward to his service to the tribal membership.
