ACTION: Compliance required under the Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) 25 Part 170 requires an updated Long-Range Transportation Plan (LRTP) every 5-years. As part of the planning process, the draft plan must be made available for public comment.
SUMMARY: The Klamath Tribes Planning Department has drafted a new 5-year Long Range Transportation Plan (LRTP). The LRTP is a document that identifies potential future Tribal Transportation projects (Construction, Road Maintenance). The Bureau of Indian Affairs will review the LRTP and approve in 2025, allowing LRTP identified projects to be place on the BIA’s Tribal Transportation Improvement Database (TTIP). This will fully authorize the Klamath Tribes Transportation Program to fully implement projects.
DATE: The LRTP was drafted on 2/10/25. The Klamath Tribes Planning Department will be taking public comment until 3/18/25.
Contact Information: Please contact the Klamath Tribes Planning Department to receive information on how to obtain a copy of the LRTP.
