Word of the Day

This week we have been looking at the responses to the question: waq i hoslta? How do you feel?

Today we will continue that but in a different way. Instead of generating 1st nouns, we will use pre-existing nouns.

The response to this question will take the form of: I feel like …..

The word sitko means: like, similar to, comparable to, resembling. The word comes after the word it is modifying.

A: waq i hoslta? How do you feel? 

B: ni we-as sitko hoslta. I feel like a child.

we-as=child, wewe-as=children

wewe-asaltko=family, parent, this suffix(-altko) means having…It is used with nouns.
