Yesterday we looked at colors. We will continue to look at colors but in a slightly different way. All colors are adjectives. We will look at ways to convert the adjectives into verbs.
taktakli =red
ni taktakli lacas gi. I have a red house.
Surprisingly, this change takes place with a suffix(heavy sarcasm there).
The suffix is: -tgi.
From the repeating adjective taktakli, we take the repeating part (tak) and add this suffix to it. We get: taktgi.
gos taktgi. The tree became red.
This suffix is translated as: turned red or became red or transformed to red. It suggests that it was another color before the transformation.
Try it a few times and make some sentences with it.
