Reading Progress:

Word of the Day

We are going to continue with the ways of making a plural.

Today we will look at 2 ways to make a plural. These two ways are probably the most often used ways to make a plural.

Item 3 on our list is: nouns with a that begin with a single consonant. The example we have is posis. The plural of posis is: poposis=cats. The 1st syllable is repeated. The “po” of posis is attached to the beginning of the word and that gives poposis.

ni poposis sle-a. I see cats.

The next item on our list is: When a number greater than 1 is used, the noun is translated as a plural.

Our example is: wac=horse and lapni wac=two horses.

ni lapni wac gi.

ni wonipni posis sle-a.
