Today we are going to examine the third participle. This participle is also made with a suffix. It is the suffix -ok. A good translation for this is: because of + verm meaning+ ing. It can not take a subject, but often takes an object.
It is a verbal suffix.

yulalona genok, ni witem sle-a. Because of going to Klamath Falls, I saw a bear.
gogetana giscnok, ni yawqal domna. Because of walking along the river, I heard a bald eagle.
gankangok, ni lilhanks slin. Because of hunting, I shot a deer.
