Reading Progress:

Word of the Day

Today we are going to finish up with our study of “hoslta.”

We are going to look at a sentence we looked at on the Zoom meeting on Wednesday

I am scare of the black bear. What is of interest here is the suffix for “of.”

The suffix is -am. It is added to any noun to express the idea of: “of.”

ni witemam hostga. I am scared of the black bear.

This is a very appropriate verb for the upcoming Halloween season.

We can say: ni skoksam hostga. I am scare of the ghost.
